Small groups
Small-group GCSE Maths tutoring online
Weekly online lessons with a qualified teacher, in groups of 3 to 5. Reserve a place free; you only pay once the group is confirmed.
- AQA
- Edexcel
- OCR
How our groups work
- 3 to 5 students per group, all in the same year and tier. Exam boards can be mixed (the content is the same); practice and monthly checks use each student's own board. A group runs once 3 students have reserved a place.
- One live online lesson a week with a qualified UK teacher, 60 minutes, in term time: 36 lessons across the school year.
- Every student takes the diagnostic test first, so they join the right group and the teacher knows their gaps.
- Practice is set between lessons. Parents get progress updates each half term.
- Reserving a place is free. When the group is confirmed, we send a direct debit link. The first payment is taken before the first lesson. Nobody pays for a group that does not run.
- Price: £100 a month, or £90 a month on a term plan (one school term). Founding families: £80 a month, fixed for the whole school year, for families who join before 1 December 2026.
- Missed lesson: group lessons run at a set time and cannot be moved; we share the lesson materials so the student can catch up.
- Friendship groups: 3 to 5 friends can book their own private group at the group price, at a time that suits them, including weekends.

Questions parents ask
How big are the groups?
Between 3 and 5 students, all in the same year and tier.
Who teaches the groups?
A UK-qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS), Enhanced DBS checked.
How do I know which group is right?
Your child takes our free diagnostic test at home. We use the results to recommend the right group, or one-to-one if that suits them better.
When do I pay?
Reserving is free. Once 3 students have reserved, the group is confirmed and we send a direct debit link. The first payment is taken before the first lesson.
How much does it cost?
£100 a month, or £90 a month on a term plan. Families who join before 1 December 2026 pay £80 a month, fixed for the school year.
What if my child misses a lesson?
Group lessons run at a set time and cannot be moved, but we share the lesson materials so your child can catch up.
Can my child join with friends?
Yes. Three to five friends can book their own private group at the group price, at a time that suits them.
What if students in the group sit different exam boards?
That's fine. The GCSE Maths content is the same for AQA, Edexcel and OCR, so lessons teach it together using exam questions from all three boards. Your child's practice and monthly checks use their own board's papers, so they get used to how their questions are asked.
